Who doesn’t love cookies?! This week, campers will tap into their inner baker and entrepreneur, becoming the boss of their very own cookie making and decorating business using our “business-in-a-box” (imPACTful Creations) kits! Campers will let their creativity shine as they create a unique name and logo for their business, before making, pricing, and advertising their cookies. They’ll also design and set up a branded display “storefront” to sell their cookies to real customers on the last day of camp! Throughout the week, campers will learn about social entrepreneurship, or building a business that addresses an issue and benefits society. As a group, they’ll focus on food justice, or the way they can use their business to promote equal access to healthy food. Fun is never in short supply this week: campers will embark on a field trip and have plenty of time for games, outdoor recreation, and making new friends!
